Fear?!

Question

Is anyone else having really bad anxiety/fear that their baby will be unhealthy or have Down's syndrome? I will love my baby no matter what but this feeling won't go away. I'm 10w1d and my first ultrasound is still 3 weeks away. Please tell me I'm not the only one.

I'm not worried about Down syndrome because my little cousin has it. She is amazing and high functioning. But i do worry about things that could make my baby unable to function at all. But regardless I will love them no matter what.  I was told by my dr that a visible nasal cavity on ultrasound is a very good sign that they do not have down or certain chromosome abnormalities. Which I haven't ever heard of. Take it easy girl no need to worry. 😀

Yep, I won't fully relax until I get my genetic test results. I'm having an NT scan today and on the last ultrasound they said it looked unlikely for downs, but that's not the only problem that could exist, so in still nervous.
