Does anyone get jealous if their boyfriend messages other females a lot?

I ain't the jealous type at all but, I must admit I think that I might be turning into one😱.  My boyfriend messages females and its obvious, he doesn't try to hide per-say but, I'm curious! Should I worry?

It depends entirely on the context! Have you met these friends? Does he socialise with them in groups or alone? Does he try to hide the fact he is messaging them? Its perfectly normal for men to have female friends and vice versa so really need more details...

If my SO texts other females, I'm gonna cave his head in lol. He knows better to not be disrespectful, I'm sure he would flip out if I disrespected him. Try doing the samething as him and he will feel how you feel. Dont show him that your naive

My fiancé messages two girls that he has been friends with for a few years. When he lived in Seattle he spent a lot of time with them (one of them was his roommate) and he is close with them. I have met one of them in person while the other I have only had a brief messaging conversation with. He is very open about talking to them, not secretive, just the same as he is with his guy friends. I don't ask to see his messages and I don't snoop through his phone or computer. Occasionally, I will catch a glimpse by accident or he will show me something they said that he thought was funny. He has never been unfaithful to me and I trust him completely. I have no doubts about his intentions. I feel that it would be selfish of me to ask him to give up two of his friends just because they are girls. This is just my situation and how I feel about it. Your situation may be different but I wanted to give you my perspective.

My husband and I have been married for three years. We both still have friendships with people of the opposite gender from before we got married. I would never expect him to stop being friends with them but those friendships naturally change. We include each other in those friendships and we tell each other about our conversations/texts or if we are going to see them. We respect each other but we also realize that we have other friendships that we care about too.

My husbands best friend is female. They became super close during their last deployment and I would never ask him to give that up. I trust both of them so completely that when he was struggling, I told him to cuddle with her. He needed that closeness, that emotional support, and so did she, so they would cuddle up on really bad days. People joke that she's his 'deployment wife' and it doesn't bother me at all. I'm actually super grateful that he has someone who can be there for him when I can't be. The same goes for me though, when he's gone and I need a cuddle, I snuggle up to my bestie (who is male) and get that emotional support and closeness I need. We are a very honest, open couple, and it works for us.
