If I'm dropping my kid off at someone's house, I'm walking them in and saying hi to the parents. I will always assess the situation when leaving my kid somewhere, even if its a family member or close friend.

I agree with Brooke I always wait for them to go in and even then I'll wait a second before I drive off. I was raised this way.

I do it with everyone I know. From my niece and nephew to my mother and my best friend. It's just something I was raised to do I guess.

I do that with everyone I happen to drop off somewhere, regardless of age or sex. It makes me feel better knowing that they made it into the house.

I wait regardless of age, gender or being told not to. There is no way I'm just driving away. If something bad happened, I would be a % responsible for the bad thing happening.
