Boyfriends!?

Am I overreacting... I noticed my boyfriend turn his phone to where I couldn't see what he was doing.. It wasn't like I was spying I'm laying on the couch looking at him talking and he moved it.. Here is the little story behind things.

So iv been cheated on in my last relationship and I noticed my bf had a pic of a screen shot of a text message from an old friend lover.. They didn't have sex she's a lesbian who likes to tease guys.. And I guess they had something during high school would make out and sleep over but didn't have sex. I know that Cuz I was his first at age 23. So I seen the pic but went to look at the text and nothing.. So he deleted the message. 
 So I asked him about it he said they only talked about his mom who passed away 2 years ago and he was upset about what she said so he doesn't want to talk to her again. And she deleted her IG a week later and two weeks after that she added him to her new IG. He told me he wasn't going to follow her back but yesterday I noticed he is.

If hes lying about Instagram, he's lying about other things too. Don't fool yourself. Guys get good at lying and they love attention from other women. Maybe sit down with him and tell him that he needs to be honest with you in every situation because if you catch him in a little lie, you question him about everything else you've had to trust him about. Tell him that if you catch him lying you're going to have to break up with him because it's not fair to us women to have to question everything they do. If he truly loves you, he wouldn't want to upset or hurt you.

my husband let's me go through his phone and he never deletes anything. I can go through his messages and see any time he's talked to a girl. Usually it's a friend from high school that he's just catching up with. He knows how I feel about lying and has only told me "white lies" a few times and I gave him a big lecture about how they are not OK.

Are you certain she's a lesbian? It could just be his excuse to make you think "oh, no way they'll ever hook up then". Trust me, from experience, DO NOT always believe the girl is a lesbian, even if she totally looks like one!!

I have been in a similar situation.  I don't think it's an overreaction to be upset,  but my bf got mad I went through his phone.  I have seen him say a few things to  girls that I didn't like,  but he promised me that he's never cheated.  I don't know how to get you through this,  as I am still in the situation,  but I would give him a little bit of time.   Maybe he is just following her because he still wants to know what she's up to. Maybe it's nothing.  Dont just assume he is lying.  Maybe he thought you would be mad and therefore isn't telling you.  My bf told a friend of ours 2 days ago that we probably aren't going to work out. I found the message he sent and it put me to tears.  I cried all night last night,  could barely look at him today,  and still hurt!! BUT,  I realized after all of it: he hasn't broken up with me.  He hasn't said anything to me about anything to do with us.  Maybe I put myself into a "fit"/"depression" for nothing. I may have hurt myself for assuming the worst when maybe he thinks I am going to break it off with him.  As I said,  give it a few days and then ask him if he's heard from her again.  Dont hurt yourself by making assumptions!  I am unsure if he really loves me or even wants to be with me,  but all I can do is give him some time and ask if we are OK.  I hope this helps. Guys are just stupid sometimes and hide things they think we will be mad about.  Sometimes they just don't think.  And sometimes,  we just need to speak up and ask for honesty.  I know I need to ask my guy what's going on with him because maybe I am not there for him like he wants,  and it's causing him to pull away.  You never know.  He could be thinking something is wrong between the two of you but just doesn't know how to ask you...  Sometimes guys just don't like that thing called feelings.

I have several homosexual friends, not one of them send pictures of themselves to "tease" the opposite sex. There is no point. Who told you she was a lesbian? Him or the friend? Strong relationships are based on trust, you don't trust him. Leave. Don't waste your time.

Forget keeping an eye out for if something happens, why put yourself through this ordeal? He is a boyfriend, you have the right to break things off if it's too much drama, and it sure sounds like too much drama! You can tell him that if he's serious about you he can try again, but you shouldn't have to babysit him, especially when there is another relationship you could be in where the guy will appreciate you and your feelings.
