Vacation?

My husband and I are thinking of taking a babymoon. I'll be 31 weeks pregnant at the time we'll go. We're from Illinois, so I'm wanting to go to a beach. Any recommendations on a relaxing place? Thinking Florida or even Mexico. Thanks!

We are on our last day of our babymoon in Jamaica. Absolutely amazing placa and a great way to relax. I am only 22wks so it is a bit easier. At 31wks I would probably do Florida just so you are closer to home. Also, check with airlines and your doctor. My doctor said no flying past 24wks and for lite travel. Many airline will not allow flying at 30+wks unless you have a note from your doctor.

We are going to Destin Florida. We thought about going to Mexico but I was afraid that if something happened and I had to go to the hospital I really didn't want to be in a foreign country.  :)

Clearwater Beach in Florida is gorgeous. But if you're worried about going far from home, look into B&Bs along lake superior (or whatever large, popular lake is nearest to you). I know some women like to stay close to home when they're that far along (I'm hoping that won't be me though, hubby and I are hoping to drive from mn to cali at 32 weeks... We'll see, I guess)
