Im thinking about breast feeding.(: Opinions?!

Im really thinking about breastfeeding. My SO really wants me to and it seems way better for the baby then formula. Wondering if anyone has breast fed or is thinking about it?!

I breast feed I loved it I'll be breastfeeding again it's a beautiful experience and takes lots of patience and you bond with your baby.

I breastfed my 4 previous babies until a yr old. Way less health issues. It also makes you loose weight quicker after birth. You burn an extra 600 to 800 calories while breastfeeding. It's a chore and at points you'll feel like a dairy cow.but thr end result is beautiful and something to be very proud of! It does hurt for a bit, but to you and baby will learn together and get through it!

I breastfed my son till he was 13 months, it was an amazing bonding experience!  I plan on breastfeeding number 2 for at least just as long. My son was so healthy with only an ear infection during that time and it costs so much less than formula. It is weird at first I will admit, but that part was over in minutes it is incredibly special. Plus no chance you can run out of food for baby when you leave the house. It is your choice and it doesn't work for everyone, but if it's what you want and you stick with it, it is so amazing

I breastfed my son till he was a year old. It's an amazing bonding experience. The first few days are rough. Nipples hurt almost to the point of tears. The hospital have me lanolin which worked great for the cracks and pain. But if you can get through that it's gravy!

Breastfeeding my son was the best, most amazing thing about having an infant. Due to a lot of different circumstances, I had to stop at 6 months, but I am so looking forward to nursing this one. It's the best bonding time you can have.

I breast fed for a little over a year. Only did bottles for a few overnight visits for baby with my mom, for me and hubby to have quiet alone time. I lost the weigh fast! Gained 65 lbs and got back down to 115 within 3 months post delivery.
