Can you get pregnant if you're on your period and you have unsafe sex? Most people say no, just making sure.

My friend was on her period, had the IUD which kills sperm and used a condom.. She now has an almost 3 year old. With sex, pregnancy is ALWAYS a possibility.

It's not likely, but it's still possible. Especially if it's towards the end of your period and you have a short cycle, because sperm can stay in you for up to 3 days. It's always safer to use a condom!!!

Anything is possible ! I have a friend who's been on birth control for years and just found out she's expecting a little boy . All while still taking birth control up until the day she went to the doctor for a routine check up . So I say if that's something you don't wanna plan for, wear a condom just in case .
