Ovulation Dip or Spike?

I have been tracking my temps for months now. Some months my ovulation is marked with a temp spike:

Some times it is marked with a temp dip:

I'm just wondering which ovulation is supposed to be marked with: a dip or a spike.

(Ovulation confirmed with opk)
