Did you ovulate after D&C before you even got your period again?

My dr told me I'd most likely ovulate 2 weeks after my D&C and then start my period about 4-5 weeks after the D&C. I'm pretty confident I was ovulating 2wks after just as he predicted....now just waiting on my period which should come in a week. 😊

I believe in order to have a period you have to ovulate first.

It IS possible to ovulate and not have a period AND it IS possible to have a period and not ovulate. Women who have low body weight and/or are breastfeeding, for example, may ovulate but not have a period. There's very good accurate information on pregnancy and periods on Americanpregnancy.org. Hope this helps....I know it can be so confusing.
