Well. I guess it depends. When i get on the wrong stuff, i have a tendency to have sex i dont want. And my guy, if he gets too drunk, just kind of kisses people. We have an agreement to NEVER leave each other alone under those circumstances, bc neither one of us want to do those things, we just kind of do. 
He wasnt texting her that kind of thing after he sobered up, was he? He might just have an impulse control problem when he gets too fucked up.
