How long did your little one stay in newborn clothes for?

I know every baby is different, but just curious to see how many newborn clothes I should get

Unless you have a premie, nb clothes are pretty much a waste of money. I had a 9 lb baby so they never fit him. Even if you have an average sized baby, it's not really a huge deal if the 0-3 month clothes are a tad big for the first couple of weeks. Sizes run sooo different between brands anyways....

Neither of mine lasted a month in newborn clothes and they weren't really big babies lol

Buy more 0-3 months than newborn.  They usually don't stay in that phase too long unless they are premature

Both my girls wore them for about 2 months I would try to put her in 0-3 mo clothes and she would be swimming in them and the sleep Sacks she would fall to the bottom and get lost. Lol

I have little babies, lucky me, so they wore their newborn for the first 2 months.

My biggest baby was 7 lbs, 2 oz. She was able to wear nb size for probably 3 weeks or so. All 3 of my other babies needed preemie size clothes for the first couple weeks.

My baby was 6lbs 11 oz and needed preemie, so we got quite a bit of wear out of newborn size . but, I didn't have a ton,she just wore the same 7-8 things over and over

My nephew didn't fit in them at all. He couldn't wear new born but my neice was about 7 pounds and wore newborn for about a month but even then some didn't fit depended on the brand and the cut of shirt and onesie like the ones that arnt sewed at the top they are open so you can pull baby out at the top and fit around big heads she fit for about a month but the other ones a couple weeks

My daughter was 6lbs even at 38 weeks and she was swimming in most NB clothes so we had to get preemie but she's just now starting to grow out of NB (mainly the pants) but the 0-3 months are way too big....I have know clue what she's supposed to wear haha.
