I think a piece of my mucus plug fell out?

Question

So two nights ago I got up to use the restroom and I noticed this blob of red mucus, my mucus plug fell out the morning of my delivery with my first born but now I'm only 34 weeks, I see my doctor Wednesday- but I've been wondering if it's normal for the mucus plug to start "dissolving" so early? I've heard it can replenish itself? Any one else had this happen? 
I'm not really that concerned because I have zero pains, no bleeding, no contractions, nothing. I feel great!

I'm 34 weeks as well and have been losing pieces of mine for a month now. I read that it does grow back, so nothing to worry about. The cervix is just going through changes in the final couple of months. The only sure signs of impending labour are contractions and water breaking; until then we just get to relax ❤️

I've heard that's normal too! It could just be that you cervix dilatated a little bit and it was no longer a snug fit. It can grow back!

I'm 32 weeks and I think I may have lost a bit of mines yesterday. Just like you I am feeling fine so I'm not too concerned other than feeling like it may be a bit early for that. I go to the doctors tomorrow and will find out the deal.

I've been losing pieces of mine here and there. The dr said it's totally normal and not a sign of labor. Contractions, bleeding and those things are.

I lost 2 globs of clear mucus about 33 weeks in, after sex, with my first baby I lost two globs of bloody mucus the morning I had my son naturally at 38 weeks. I don't think it's a reason to panic lovely xx
