Is love about finding someone and compromising your opinions for them or finding someone who has almost the same opinions as you and not having to compromise as much?

Answer

It depends on the things you are compromising.  Marriage, children, often religion, those are things that are very difficult to find a happy medium.  But things like where you live, and how you live, those things have some flexibility and you can find a happy medium.
