How many use dopplers?

I am 10w 6d. I heard my babies hb on doppler twice so far but for the last 4 days I have not been able to find it. Anyone else have words of wisdom or have been through this?

I would discourage against a Doppler. I just came from my OB appt and we couldn't find the heartbeat sound, but with the ultrasound we found a very strong heartbeat. You may not find your heartbeat every time with a home Doppler and that is just asking for unnecessary worry. I say nay on a home Doppler.

I recorded mine at the midwifes so I can play it back and hear it when I want 😀

I found mine at 10weeks! And have been able to find it every time since it was more difficult early on. But now I can find it in seconds and can also hear the babies movements!! Love my Doppler!!

I just posted a question regarding Dopplers. I got mine in yesterday. I searched for the heartbeat for probably 30 minutes. Some times I couldn't find anything but mine. Then all of a sudden it was there!! The most amazing sound ever!!! But once I found it I said I'm not doing it again for a while bc when you can't find it, it's a real bummer!

DH doesnt want me to have a doppler because I have no patience and get upset quickly!!!

Baby may be deeper and the Doppler can't reach. My doctor suggested that on Monday. I always like to start on the side i ovulated on and go from there. I love hearing the heartbeat so something that I also did was record it. That way I can listen to it whenever I want. Good luck!!

I used a Doppler and now I'm nervous I harmed the baby in fear I did it wrong

I have found mine everyday since I wrote this post. I just needed to stay calm lol

I can't find mine with Doppler but the doc said he won't even try to find it until 15+ weeks in office. I have extra fat on my tummy  which he said could make it harder to find. I still try every week but if I don't find it I don't stress because he already warned me.
