Need your opinions plz :-)
I've been helping at a community center near my home lately. We feed people in need hot lunches and offer groceries to go as well. There's a lot of standing and being on your feet. I was mostly helping with food prep and dish washing but lately they've asked me to put the dining room together. It is very strenuous on me. It involves cleaning 10-15 tables, lifting chairs onto the tables, sweeping the huge dining room and mopping it as well. The mopping is very tough because it is heavy and you have to move it all around.
I am 5 months pregnant and have had 4 c-sections already. It feels like I am pulling on my belly while doing the floors and my back is killing me (not literally) by the end of the day. I was so frustrated that nobody wanted to help me mop that I snapped at everyone and left for the day just a little bit early.
Should I be okay doing all this physical work or should I do something about it? I really like helping people but I don't think I can do all that stuff on my own.
What do you think?
