Want to get married but will i lose my food stamps?

I have been dating my current boyfriend for some time now he wants to get married, but am worried that i would lose my food stamps that i receive for my two children from my past relationship, i have no child with my boyfriend. Does anyone know how this would work?

Once married, both if your incomes will be taken into account jointly when determining your eligibility. If you make too much combined, you may lose your benefits. But, on the upside, you may not NEED them anymore, which is a good thing! :)

They would base your benefits on his/ total household income. They can get completely cut if he or you both together make a certain amount of money. Regardless of bills and other expenses.
