Softball?

So, my husband and I were not planning on TTC till September but we can not wait that long so we just started trying. If I do get pregnant would I still be able to play softball? I know not everyone gets pregnant on their first try but just saying if I do. Softball starts in May.

Check tour league rules, but SPN rules say its okay.
I plan on playing this summer I'd I get my BFP, of course that all depends on how I feel of that is the case.

I played until i was 7 almost 8 months! (gets hard to waddle around the bases). So glad i did tho. Keep doing all physical activity ur body is used to!

It's safe to do whatever you're currently doing. So if your body is used to playing softball it is fine. That's what my doctor told me, I ride horses professionally and plan to ride through my pregnancy, until I'm too uncomfortable to ride anyway.

I play competively on a coed team. I will not be playing. Currently I'm 6 weeks. Season starts in two, but it's not worth the chance of getting hit by a ball that some guy blasts at me. I love softball, but I'll be sitting this one out.

It's risky, but also depends on the position you play and how far along you are. I usually play catcher and my husband plays pitcher on our intramural softball team. 2 years ago he was hit in the left eye and it fractured his orbital. Last year for our last game we decided to switch positions and the first pitch I threw the guy line drived it right to my shin, it hurt like hell and I basically had a softball on my shin for a month and it took at least 4 months for the bruising to fade. 9 months later and I still have a tiny knot and some discoloration on my skin. Doctor said it could take years to go away. So just imagine if you got hit in the stomach area, how painful that would be.
