Spike in bbt

Sooo I've left a few posts this month...irregular cycles between 26-36 days, currently cd43 not too sure when I ovulated had ewcm about 10 days ago. Took hpt 5 days ago and it was negative...all this annoying stuff is not really out of the ordinary for me. What is odd is my bbt, the last 3 days it's been higher then it's ever been and has stated that way plus my cervix is quite high. Anyone else had this and got bfp?? I HATE testing so would like advice before heartache. Baby dust xx
