BF and I dated for 5 years. 3 weeks ago we broke up b/c he's lost sight of who he is and needs to be alone to find himself again. But, the love we share for each other is something special and we share such a unique bond. He told me he's scared I hang on, in case he can't be the man I deserve one day because he's just so lost. Broken and confused 💔

Give a bit of space but still fight for him. Remind him your always their for him and love him through everything

I wish I could choose more than one option. I think you should give him enough space to let him figure things out in his own mind, but don't give up on him and on your relationship.

I think you should fight. I was in a little bit different place he was but I felt like giving up on my boyfriend of 4 almost 5 years. I felt like he could do so much better. I kept putting thoughts in my own head and it made me very depressed.  It was so bad that I cried for 4 days in a row. I told myself that I need to tell him how I felt. Of course he cried but he's fighting to keep me. He tries to bring my spirits up everyday. I think we became stronger from it. I love him more than ever.
