Little red dots on my daughters tongue

Laura
Does anyone know what this could be ? She woke up this morning saying she doesn't feel good and that her body aches but her throat does not hurt .

It could be an allergic reaction to something or a burn (citrus or heat). I get the same if I eat fresh pineapple or certain types of grapes from the acid.

Or if it's just her tongue, could be from eating candy over Easter lol I get those bumps when I eat too much sugar so do my kids

Hand foot and mouth! My son got this from daycare all the time, it's highly contagious between babies so don't take her to the dr before calling so they can make sure to get her back right away and not sitting in the lobby with other kids. It's nothing to worry about though, it heals up very quickly

Our pediatrician calls that "strawberry tongue". He says it's an indication of a viral infection. My kids' tongues have looked like that with strep, and with hand/foot/mouth disease.

These are all I could find you can only see the one at the side of her tongue on the picture it turned into an ulcer type thing but it started looking the same as your daughters , her bottom was covered in them and she wasn't well with it x

my daughter was very lethargic with it and didn't really run about like normal she said her body hurt , the spots look exactly the same as my daughters started out , it came in stages like chicken pox but worse for mine was the bottom they said it was because she had a nappy on and the heat in the nappy aggravated it x

Looks like a virus my daughter had. Her legs and mouth and body had those types of bumps. It lasted about a week and at the end they burst and bled. It was very painful. Wish u and her the best and i hope thats not what it is.
