What laundry detergent do you use for baby?

I'm curious to know if regular laundry detergent really is too harmful to use on baby clothes, blankets, etc.... What do you use for baby?

I buy dreft and use it on only the babies clothes, blankets, towels.  I use it until around their 2 month mark then i begin using regular detergent, tide.  I have heard tide is ok with newborns but i used dreft just to be safe.  You can have reactions yo detergents, i breakout if i use the powder detergents, or I at least have to double rinse them.

i use the all brand baby detergent. it smells great and cheaper than dreft!

I would just buy unscented. It should be okay. If your baby gets a rash then you could switch. But regular soap won't destroy the clothes.

I make my own with Castile bar soap. It's really easy, works great and smells awesome. Found it on Pinterest.

I'll use Charlies soap at first (from Amazon, cheaper than dreft) then switch to tide. I'm like my dad and can only use tide and no matter what detergent I try except from Charlies I break out like crazy and itch for weeks. So those are the 2 I trust.

I used a baby laundry detergant ( I think dreft baby )  for the first wash, then switched to regular unscented for the first few months and back to my normal laundry detergent and my now 2 yr. old hasn't  had any skin irritations.
