Do you think the age limit to watch porn should be lowered?

My friend and I was having a huge debate about this because his parents allow him to watch porn. And he doesn't think it affected him in any way so he think it should be lowered. However, I don't believe it should because it will teach children under 18 to think about sex— overall it will NOT be a good thing.

No, I think that watching porn at a young age would really give children an unrealistic idea of what sex is, what a body is supposed to look like, and i think those things could be unhealthy.

They are probably already watching it. I know my girlfriends and I used to watch it during our high school sleepovers. I even used to talk about it with a couple guys, and one gave me a couple DVD's to watch. Changing the age won't change anything. If teens want to watch it, they will.

I don't think it's porns fault that people have unrealistic expectations.

​That's like saying Nicholas Sparks movies/books give unrealistic expectations on what a love life is supposed to be.

​It's better to teach teens that it's fantasy and advocate for better sex-Ed.

​Porn is a healthy way to vent sexual frustration and we should really stop dismissing it so much. We have to thank the porn industry for a lot of nice things in our modern life, so I'm sure porn would appreciate it if people stopped being so uptight about it.

Don't change it. Porn puts an unhealthy expectation of what sex is meant to look like. Nobody should watch it without understanding (not knowing, understanding) that real sex is 0% like porn. By 18, most people know what real sex is like, and are adult enough to know that it is fake.
