Forgoing early genetic screen

Is anyone else opting out of the 12 week genetic testing? My husband and I are both in our 20s and no history of issues In our families. I doubt my insurance covers it, either. I opted out for my next appointment, but now I'm rethinking. We wouldn't terminate based on results, we've discussed it. I guess my question is-did anyone opt out of this and is it the best decision for baby? I am having the blood screen done around 16-18 weeks but now I'm second guessing myself!
