Are you planning another baby shower for the second baby if it's the same sex as first?

Just curious. I didn't think to really save my sons old things and clothes I actually always gave them to the less fortunate when it didn't fit him anymore and so forth. So I think if I have another boy I would have another shower.

First off why is it ridiculous to have a second baby shower?? Is the second baby not as important as the first?? Lol! I'm sorry but I will be having a second baby shower as this baby will be just as important as the first, and not so much for the presents but the memories and celebration!

I'm still TTC . But when I have my postive.  I will be having one. My daughter is about to be 9 so I have nothing baby anymore lol. Good luck 😊

I plan to, yes. Every baby deserves to be celebrated. However, I'm not sure if I'll do it before or after baby arrives this next time around.

Yes. Why not? It's not only a shower to help with some things you'll need but also to celebrate that child's life and put that moment into memories forever. How can you tell one child they had a shower and the other not because they weren't the first? Its a chance to share a joyous occasion with family and friends before the arrival of baby when you will want to be alone with only those closest to you

if we have a same gender child we will probably just have an essentials party for like diapers and wipes and to celebrate but if its opposite gender we'll have a regular shower with games and all the fun stuff!

Baby sprinkles (I think that's what it called) is what I plan on doing for future babies. It's a celebration for the baby an presents aren't required but appreciated.

Baby showers are up in the air for me. Mostly because I don't have a huge family so not sure who would actually show. With my son I invited plenty but only a few actually showed up. It's not about the gifts for me. It's about celebrating life. If you bring something, fantastic!!

Sorry but I think its ridiculous to organize your own shower or to have one for anything other than a first child.... asking your friends and family to buy your second child all new things because you were too silly to keep things is the apex of entitlement!!!  I would be pissed to hear a friend gave away the gift I gave her at the first shower and now wants all new! 
Often friends and family buy a gift when #2 arrives,  I think thats plenty generous.

Not planning on it. We'll likely have a gender reveal and then a sip and see. Where I live, second showers are considered incredibly rude unless they are thrown by friends. My MIL would be horrified, haha.
