Position of baby?

Question

When does the doctor check to see if the baby is head down or breech? I am 33 weeks and just curious if the baby has flipped yet. Does anyone know approximately when they do flip head down? It's my first so I don't know a lot about any of it!

All doctors are different and I wish mine had started talking to me about positioning earlier. I found out at 34 weeks that she was breech and she still hasn't flipped (I'm 38 weeks now). There are a lot of things you can do to help encourage baby to get in the right position earlier in the third trimester and of course they can flip late too! Check out the spinning babies website if you are interested in some of the stretches and yoga moves to help encourage your little One to use gravity and go head down!

I got checked at 36 weeks. Not sure when they're supposed to flip but I swear I felt her reposition head down a couple of days before my appointment.

They flip around 36-37weeks! It depends on your doc

Mine never mentioned when they were checking but she did mention where and how to find the heartbeat which would also give a slight indication on where baby is and the position. Mine was head down the entire pregnancy so I can't help with a breech baby but I do know where the heartbeat is located is an indication.

In the UK they usually check around 35 weeks as baby still has space to flip x

My midwife checked at 25 weeks and he was breech. I'm now 26+4 and I'm sure he is in the same position. Still plenty of time to move so I'm not worried. My other two pregnancies They wasn't breech at any stage.

My doctor checked at 29weeks 2days. Babyboy was still butt down and he told me if he dont turn by 36 weeks we will have to discuss c section
