What do you think of the name Peyton?

We don't know if were having a boy or girl yet. But, we would consider the name Peyton for either gender. What do you think of the name? My husband loves the name, but I can't help but think of Peyton Manning anytime we discuss this name…

My friend just named her son Peyton. But I also know of a lot of baby girls with that name too.

If you can only think of somebody else when you say the name it's probably not for you.

My son's name is Ashton & somehow it never crossed our minds that people might think we were naming him after ashton kutcher, until they said it after he was born. I couldn't understand how none of my family or my SO clicked to it but I guess it's cause the name was perfect!

I love the name Peyton. I considered it for a boy name, but ended up going a different route because the men in my husband's family all have G names. I've also met girls with the name.
