What were you doing when you felt your baby move for the first time?

For mommies-to-be that already felt their little angel kick, do you recall what were you doing when you first started feeling it? I am 21 weeks and very (im)patiently waiting to feel my little boy kick. I think I can feel some nudges when I'm sitting really still and focusing on my belly. When was it most common for you in the beginning?

I have loads of movements when I'm about to go to sleep and in the morning. I think baby tends to fall asleep midday. X

I got my first real kick on my husbands Bday at 18.5 weeks. We couldn't believe it! Now 21.5 and they're pretty much everytime I sit down. It's weird, but also reassuring.

I felt a flutter at 18 weeks just after waking up in the morning, it had sort of the butterfly flutter that some people explain.  I felt the same thing when sitting down to rest after cleaning around 19 weeks.  I'm 23 weeks now and just started feeling movements again, I had a doctor appointment at 21 weeks and the doctor said the placenta was blocking me from feeling anything.  This week either things shifted or baby has gotten stronger!! It feels similar to tiny muscle spasms or if I wasn't pregnant I'd think it was gas bubbles :) This week they started happening at any time but are more frequent when laying down right before bed or right after waking up, also if I'm feeling really hungry and eat something there is usually some movement. I didn't think the movements would be this exciting for me or make me feel as connected to the baby as they do.  I hope you start feeing something more frequently soon, it's better than I imagined :)

I can always feel him best when I'm laying down. Movement rocks them to sleep and they don't move as much (plus it's harder to feel). Try laying down for a little bit and see what you can feel.

At my desk I sit cross legged and I leaned forward for a bit when I felt the little one wiggle around.

I had just finished eating BBQ (ribs), and she thumped hard! It surprised the heck out of me and then I realized it was her. I was 18 weeks.

She now kicks when I'm relaxing at night, in the complete dark. Preferably when I'm about to sleep...
