How long did you wait after loss?

Question

I had 4 MCs during the last year and a half. I get pregnant after 2-4 months after MC. I end up loosing them.
My Qustion is how long after MC did you start TTC,and was it sucsesful?
all the 4 times my doc gave me the green light to start.
All of them stop grwoing before i has bleeding. I did all the blood work and an X ray, there was no proplem found.

You might need progesterone supplement I kept misscarrying and as soon as they tryed progesterone I never miscarried again. I had three miscarriages and one ecptopic and three beautiful healthy boys and a baby on the way. Good luck it's worth a try and won't hurt you any

I had a miscarriage my first pregnancy, then a month & half later got pregnant again & it was a successful pregnancy, I had my son. Then around 2 yrs later had my daughter, & now 6 yrs later expecting twins, a boy & a girl.

I had to wait a full 3 months before I was given the green light.. Had 2 mc within 6 months then it was almost 9 months before I got pregnant again. Then my dr immediatley put me on progesterone cause that was why I lost the others. Now I'm 34 weeks

My midwife recommended I wait three months (or three menstrual cycles) before TTC after my miscarriage last year. An article that brought me comfort and guidance broke it down this way: "The first month allows the body to clear the pregnancy tissue and hormones. The second month allows your cycle to regulate. Like you, there was no discernible cause which infuriated me and filled me with fear of getting pregnant again. I sought grief counseling also, mostly to relieve myself of the fear of getting pregnant and that happening again. It made such a huge difference and I am so much more relaxed during this pregnancy. I needed time to sort through the emotional aspects of miscarriage, and I think that may look different time-wise for each woman and maybe even each loss.

We started right away. As soon as the bleeding stopped. It took us about 3 1/2 months to conceive this one.

We waited six months after my last MC. I also started taking a baby aspirin daily about a month before we started trying, and then as soon as I found out I was pregnant, I got a prescription for progesterone. I'm pretty sure the progesterone combined with the aspirin is what made this baby so sticky! As with everything, discuss your plan with your doctor, but after that many losses, he/she should be onboard to help you stay pregnant!

If your uterus cleared out fine on its own, you can start ttc right away... But docs prefer you wait a cycle so you know when your LMP was, and I know I personally wasn't emotionally ready for pregnancy again until after the 3rd cycle (when I found out I was pregnant again, and had a dream that my angel baby was watching over my rainbow). If you feel emotionally ready, your body has probably already been physically ready for a while. But I agree with the other ladies recommending progesterone, low progesterone can cause repeat miscarriages. Ask your doc if you can try that this time. Good luck!
