Montessori infant room: where to find good bed on floor?

I am interested in creating a room using the Montessori philosophy and this includes having a bed on the floor so as not to restrict movement (when baby is still super little will use cosleeper and bassinet). Does anyone know where I can find a good bed/mattress for this purpose? I'm not sure about just putting a crib matress on the floor...

We will be diy building this in the nursery baby will sleep in our room for about a year then transition into this in their room.

I've seen people use a twin bed mattress and then pool noodle under fitted sheet so they don't roll.
