Premie clothes?

Question

My daughter will be born at 38 weeks due to her measuring small and not gaining weight so she will either be just under 5 pounds or at 5 pounds when she is born and she is measuring 3 weeks behind so I was thinking about picking up some premie clothes what do u guys think? Good idea or a waste of money?

I would get a couple. My son was born 6.7 pounds and swam in newborn clothes so we bought him some premie clothes and he was in them for a while

My son had to be delivered 5 days ago due to the same thing. He was 36 weeks but measured 33. In the end he was 43 cm and all the newborn items (usually for 50cm) are HUGE on him!!!!! Deffo buy Preemie. Not sure where you live buy in Europe Prenatal have a nice affordable range for 41-47cm  & Petit Bateau have a 46cm range. 
Warning: being smaller your baby will be EXTRA CUTE!😘😘😘

Yes, I would. Both my girls were 5 pounds & they both were too small for newborn clothes the first month or so

It would be a good idea to have a few premie  outfits. My first daughter was born full term at 6lbs and my in laws had to run out and buy some premie clothes cuz we didn't have any and wasn't expecting her to need them.

It's a great idea to buy preemie clothes. My son was born at 38 weeks. He was 6lbs and 7oz. I cried in the hospital because I didn't have any clothes that fit him. A friend went and bought me a few preemie outfits to get us through the first few weeks.

My daughter was 5lb 3oz and new born were way too big. Would suggest that you buy some preemie clothes

It depends on how long the baby is. My girls were born at 31 weeks and weighed around 6lbs when they came home from the NICU. However, the premie sleep n plays were too tight lengthwise, so we just had to use newborn and roll the pants and sleeves on their shirts for about a month. So, in my opinion it's not worth the money.

I would get  a few things, she won't be in them for long but you want her to be comfortable!
