My daughter was born on October 9th, 2014 at 6:04 am. My water broke the night before at 6:40 pm during the full lunar eclipse & blood moon. Weird because everyone in my family is born on full moons so I already knew she would be early. My original due date was October 13. Anyway it was just myself and my step daughter, I stood up and my water broke and she was like "OMG WHY ARE YOU PEEING YOURSELF" lol she's 3. My husband came home, we went to the hospital and I was only 2 cm dilated but still gushing water. I labored until 5 am without an epidural (I refused pitocin) I was still 2 cm, 5 minutes later I was 6 cm. 10 minutes later I felt like I needed to push. It was an overwhelming urge, so I begged her to check me and I was 10 cm. she told me to do two "practice pushes" because she kept insisting it would take me two hrs to push her out. Two pushes and I was crowning. Then she made me HOLD HER IN until the doctor for there- she lived 20 minutes away. She finally got there, put on her gown and I pushed immediately and my daughter's whole body flew out haha. 7lbs 9 oz 20 inches long!
