BCP or lupron?

I had a lap in December. I'm still having severe pain. My doctor wants to do lupron for three months but I'm really concerned about the side effects. Her other suggestion was BCP for a few months to see if that will calm things down. My question is, has anyone had success conceiving after taking BCP for a few months? I'm afraid it would just help while I'm on the pill but wouldn't necessarily help our odds of conceiving afterwards.
