I went in for my first appt. yesterday at 11wks.  My doctor was unable to find a heartbeat with the doppler and scheduled me for a scan this morning.  Unfortunately, they found 2 sacs but one was empty and the other was only measuring 6wks (fetal pole,no heartbeat).  I've had no spotting or cramping so I was completely shocked.  I go back next week to confirm no growth and he doctor told me a gently as he could that this was probably the end of my pregnancy.  Now I feel like I'm waiting for the end to happen but still holding on to a glimmer of hope that something will have progressed next week.  Im trying to accept the facts but it is difficult.
