Boy names?

We want Clay or Clayton for a middle name after my grandpa. I had a girl name picked out, but of course it's a boy and I have no name picked yet!  Also, we have a boy named Owen. Is the name Ian too close to Owen.

Ian is a good strong traditional name that you rarely hear kids being called. Can't shorten it. Sounds great as an adult name too. Ian & Owen sound fab together.... Love middle name too x

To me, Clayton sounds better as a first name with any of the names you have picked. Thinking through Irish names, Clayton sounded better as a first name for any I could think of....
