First period after mc. HEAVY

I had a MC 4 weeks ago. I finally have Mr first period, which I was excited for because that mean we can go back to TTC. But it sooooo heavy like heavier than any period I have had before. Is this normal? I had a ultrasound down after to confirm there was no tissue left and that was clear but I am still having what looks like medium clots /tissue with this period.
