Is Okay to test

I have an irregular cycle so Im not sure when my period will start since the last one was in January. It's been four weeks since my partner fingered me with pre-ejaculate in his hands ( due to him touching his penis). Would this be a good time to test? Is there a chance of becoming pregnant this way since the ore ejaculate was still wet?
