Is it normal to have a weird smell coming from your vagina? READ DESCRIPTION

Ok so it's been going on for a while now but just at the most random times I will smell this foul smell and it's coming from me and it's coming from down there. And it doesn't smell like the same smell of a period. I shower regularly and haven't changed anything that I have been doing for a while. It's REALLY embrassing too. Oh and I have an IUD as well. But it's been in for almost three years now. I started using those feminine wipes and those don't even help! Someone please help me!

If you use soap to clean your vagina, make sure it's pH balanced like summer's eve and be sure you drink lots of water. You could have a yeast infection which are super common and easy to fix, or it could be a whole lot of other things. You can buy over the counter test kits like this one

You could try not using soap. Your actualy not supposed to use soap at all near or on your vagina. It can change ph and cause smells and infections

Feminine wipes won't help. May even make it worse. Go see a gynecologist. Your vagina isn't supposed to smell BAD. It it smells bad or fishy there can be or probably is something wrong. Or like the other lady says could be sweat. We can't smell it so we can't say

Your vagina shouldn't smell bad, I'd go to a doctor just to be safe. If it is an infection and it goes untreated it can spread to your uterus and Fallopian tubes and cause a lot of problems. Better safe than sorry.

I use this hypoallergenic soap by dial drink plenty of water if it's still bad then I'd get it checked out

Try using regular dove soap. The unscented white one. Dont use nothing scented and if that dont work see the gyno. Could be an infection.

Be careful what soaps you use down there. If I use anything other than Olay ribbons or summers eve I get an odd smell. It was REALLY bad in high school. Changes in soap can lead to a shift in your pH balance, which can mess everything up. Discharge, smellls, pain.... the works. Go see a gyno to fix the problem and get recommendations.
