Heartburn, and constipation

I just found out Friday that I am pregnant. I had been having symptoms but just thought my period was going to be late. The Dr hasn't confirmed yet- but said over the phone that according to my last LMP I am 5 weeks.

I have been experiencing horrible heartburn (I have GERD) so I knew it would be bad, but I didn't think it would be this bad. I also have been having trouble with constipation. Any advice about what to do to help with these symptoms?
