Spotting during first trimester

Hey guys I'm about 4 weeks in and I started spotting this morning. Yesterday I had really bad cramps and it made me very nervous.. Now today I'm spotting. It's only been when I use the bathroom. Is this normal during the first trimester? I've been Eatting and drinking like I'm supposed to. Just very worried something could go wrong. :(
