Normal not to have Braxton hicks??

Question

I'm 37 weeks and 4 days and not had one Braxton hick yet 
All I feel is pressure down there from her head and a burning feeling at times also from her head I think it's where she is moving futher down bubs head is nearly engaged 
Is it normal not to have any Braxton hicks and to feel pressure down low with the burning and feeling like I need to pee constantly?  I have had tests done for infections and all are normal Which is a good sign 
I'm being induced next Tuesday 
Could the burning be from where I'm dilating?

I am in the same boat. I thought I wasn't having contractions, but my mom who was a labor delivery nurse told me that if your abdominal muscles tighten super hard all around...that's a contraction. Turns out I've been having them for a while. When you start to feel preassure on your pelvic and lower back near the bum, that can be early labor signs. So she told me to keep track of the time every time it contracts and wait for the mucus plug to drop and or water breaks. Good luck!! Hope it helps.

I'm 37 weeks and 3 days but I've had Braxton hicks contractions since about 30 weeks. But I understand the pressure you're feeling and the constantly having to pee. I asked my doctor about it and he said she's just anxious to come out. Lol I wouldn't be worried though, my sister never had Braxton hicks during her pregnancy and she went the full 40 weeks with no problems.

Not sure I can be really helpful, but I'm 32 weeks and haven't had any Braxton Hicks yet. Would be interested to see what other people say...
