What to expect at first prenatal visit...

Hi ladies. I have my first prenatal visit today! My husband is going with me and I am not sure what to expect. Does the Doctor do a regular obgyn exam? I know he wants to be in for the ultrasound, but I don't think he wants to experience the rest lol.  What to do?  Thanks!

I had an ultrasound before my first appointment with my doctor. It was a viability ultrasound. My first appointment was: weight, million questions about health, information, pap, breast exam, bloodwork.

My Dr did a pap and breast exam. My boyfriend was in the room but couldn't see much because I had something draped over my legs.

My first appointment consisted of confirming the pregnancy via urine test, discussion with nurse about dis and don'ts along with my husband's and my medical history, and financial planning for delivery setting up monthly payments for what my insurance does not cover due to co-insurance.

All went well!! Here is my little bean. I won't hear heartbeat until next exam in four weeks. :(.

Mine was kind of like a regular exam minus the pap because I had had one recently but the swabbed for different things. My husband was there, he just sat near my head.
