Will I be able to hear heartbeat at 8weeks?

I'm just about 4 weeks today and my first appointment is end of May at 8 weeks they're doing an ultra sound. Will I be able to hear the heart beat?

Yes. And if not you'll definitely be able to see it flicker on the ultrasound! I went for my first U.S. At 6 weeks 5 days and saw the heartbeat! Truly an amazing experience! Good luck and congratulations!

Usually only on an ultrasound. With the Doppler I think you have to be further along

I just went for my 8 week appointment yesterday and the heartbeat was 174. It was crazy to hear it!

i was 7w2d and they listend for it and found.it at 171bpm.... she said i had to lay very still though to measure it... the best sound in the world

My office didn't do the heart beat Doppler until 12 weeks. She told me I wouldn't hear it until 11-12 weeks. At my 8 week ultrasound I just saw the flicker of the heartbeat. They didn't listen for it.
