when to marry?

My boyfriend and I are so in love. we are definitely going to be getting married. I want to get engaged now and not get married till I'm 22. my boyfriend is 26 now and I'm turning 21 soon. my parents said I can get married at 22 but engaged at 21. I just want to know what you guys think.. is it to young? do you believe if you love someone what age to get engaged /married shouldn't matter ?

When I read "my parents said......" I immediately thought, this girl isn't ready if her parents are making this decision with her. It's YOUR relationship....not theirs. Why should your parents have a say on when u get engaged /married? You're an adult....act like it!

You're parents said it's okay?? I'm 2o and just got engaged but won't be married until I'm 22. My parents told me to wait until after college but we were ready to take the next step. My fiancé of course asked my dad for his blessing which he obviously got but personally I don't think you're ready 1) if you have to ask people's opinions and 2) if your parents are still pulling the strings in your relationship. I respect my parents but my relationship is not their business. All they know is that we love eachother and want to be with eachother. They don't know anything about or financials, our fights, our sex life. They know what they should know. My mom tried to find out practically everything but something are meant to be kept between you and your spouse.

I was 21 when my husband and I got married, he was 28 at the time when you guys are ready go for it, it's nobodies decision but your own

When you are ready you don't need permission from your parents or need to ask people if you are. You will just know. I got married at 23 and love every minute of it.

Husband and I were married when I was 20 and he was 22. Engagement period of 8 months. Everyone told us not to do it, but here we are, 10 years later with 2 kids and 1 on the way. So if you two are feeling it,  then go for it.

Got married at 20 on May 27th 2015 we willbe married 10 yrs altogether we gave been together 15 yrs. I'm 29 now and my husband is 36. I believe  God has given a spouse for everyone. When you put Jesus number#1 in your lives and part of your marriage it will last forever! The devil tries to put wedges between us but don't let the devil think he wins because he already list the battle!
