NO sperm :( considering IVF in NorCal

Sarah • Wifey, registered nurse, pit bull lover, foodie and hopefully future mommy.
We had a sperm analysis yesterday after I've been off of birth control pill for almost 3 years, and there was "no sperm" seen in the specimen. We are both heartbroken. My husband has a spinal cord injury (he's in a wheelchair) from an accident 6.5 yrs ago and we knew that conceiving may be difficult, but we weren't expecting this. He's 36 and I'm 34 and for the first time ever, I'm looking into IVF or adoption. To my surprise adoption seems even more expensive then IVF (sad). So I live in Northern California and I'm curious if any of you have had, or researched, IVF in this area? I feel like I'm surrounded by babies and everyone keeps asking when we're gonna have a baby - I feel like now when someone ask me that, it's going to take every ounce of me NOT to cry. Infertility is so difficult and its tearing me up.
