TMI...Is this my mucous plug starting?

I feel gross even posting this, but is this part of my mucous plug coming out?

Yes it seems to be what that is. How far along are you? Mine started coming out at 33 weeks and the rest came out last Thursday. I felt so gross and violated. Lol, once the rest came out though I started having sporadic contractions. But as of right now I am on 1 cm dilated.

Looks like it! Ive had this too. Some at 33 weeks and now knew more at 37 weeks, not a lot else happening for me yet so certainly not a definite sign of immediate labour unfortunately boooo xx

That's what mine looked like. Lost mine a week ago and I'm 35 weeks and 3 days now. Mine was blood-tinged though.

That's what mine looked like mine was more clear with white. I lost mine at 35 weeks and got cramping right away. Went to the ob and I was 80% effaced and my cervix was thin and soft. I was put on bed rest for a week. I'm 39 weeks and still no baby:(

That's what mine looked like. I lost it on Monday, and I was 37 weeks on Tues. I didn't take a picture but described it today to my doc, and he said yeah it was probably a piece of it. Things are progressing (I went from 50% effaced, no dilation last week to 60-70% effaced, .5cm dilated, station -3 today. ). He said if there's some blood with the plug that usually means you're closer to labor.

Mine came out in three different pieces . Each about a week apart. Last piece was just a few days ago at 38 weeks. Getting closer!! 😊

Absolutely the plug! Mines came out at 32 weeks and put me in preterm labor! Hospital managed to stop labor but now I'm at 3cm dilated and on bed rest! I say labor is definitely close. Good luck!!
