Is there a prescription?

I have extreme fatigue. ALL THE TIME! is there something that can be prescribed to help me? Please answer. If anyone else has had this problem comment plz

Extreme fatigue is a thing. The disorder is called chronic fatigue syndrome. It cannot be cured by meds and you would have to see a medical professional about it. Your doctor can discuss with you options if he thinks a prescription will. Help certain medications have what we call off label use. So normally antiseizure meds and antidepressant can be used to treat chronic fatigue. Things such as gabapentin. Melatonin is used to calm people normally and help them go to sleep. So you could try melatonin at night and see if it helps you sleep better and wake more restful. Some people to get the opposite affect and get hyper. But I would see your doctor about your constant fatigue, just in case it is also caused by something simple. Like a vitamin deficiency or low iron, etc.

I was also diagnosed with narcolepsy and take Provigil- seriously, see your doctor and have a sleep study done. Being on the meds has made my life so much more worth living- before I was sleeping 15-20 hours and still exhausted and when I was "awake" I felt like the living dead! Something you can do to help without drugs is set a reminder every 15-20 min and take a quick walk or do something to energize yourself, as long as I'm busy I'm usually good, the second I zone out (driving, staring at a CPU screen, etc) I'm out!  I'm going to have to come up with some more techniques once my husband and I conceive bc you can't stay on provigil while you're pregnant. :( womp, womp- back to the super sleepy life!

Depending on what state you're in (I have no idea what states it's even legal in besides CO) but maybe they could prescribe you medical marijuana? Idk.

I had this issue for years and was finally
Diagnosed after a sleep study to have narcolepsy. I used provigil for years. They now have nuvigil that dr can prescribe for chronic fatigue or for people that work odd shifts. But idk if it's safe when pregnant or ttc. So double check if you're ttc
