When are they done??

Sorry guys I have another question. How do you know when the baby is done eating my little one falls asleep I burp then try to wake up after 8-10 minutes do I put back on the same side or switch? Then sometimes he won't wake up and will like 30 minutes later and want to eat. Or sometimes he will just lay there sucking not swallowing how do I know when he has had enough?
