Is it normal to breastfeed in public?

So I am currently BFing & I would like to know other people's point of view about breast feeding in public without a cover. I think it's very normal but some people don't & if u don't think it's ok to BF in public pls comment & tell us why:)

Breastfeeding in and of itself is normal, with or without a cover. If people have a bee in their bonnet about seeing a baby mammal eating how every other baby mammal eats, they can look away and worry about themselves.

The only reason there is for people to think its not ok to Breast feed in public is because society has sexualized boobs to much. If my son walked by a woman Breast feeding I wouldn't be upset I would just explain to him what she was doing and that it was normal.

I breastfeed and in public but I think you should only do it in public with a cover. It's polite, other ppl don't wanna see your stuff, I think it's rude and inconsiderate of other ppl if you don't cover and it also let's ppl know in a nice, considerate way that breastfeeding is still an ongoing practice in the 21st century.

Cover or no cover it doesn't bother me! I find breastfeeding a beautiful bond between mom and baby!

Only perverts  or people with no self control view it as sexual! I deliver babies , and look at vaginas all day, doesn't mean I'm lesbian!

Perfectly normal. Feed with or without a cover. Whichever way you and baby are more comfortable. If anyone has a problem with it it's THEIR problem, not yours.

I saw a Mama walking through Disneyland nursing her baby, and I gave her the thumbs up. I don't think nursing a child is sexualising a breast. If it offends people, they need to re-evaluate their own proclivities....

It doesn't matter where I am. My son is now 18 months. I never have , nor ever will cover him. It is eating. I don't put a blanket in my head and pour a glass of milk...lol... My little love gets grumpy if my breast is covered...Haha! It is THE purpose for breasts. Look away if you don't want to see my mammaries. I couldn't care less either way. My kid wants his milk....in church, grocery, wearimg him walking through the fair...whatever. He gets his milk on demand and is healthy because of it. Just sayin'.

People make such a uproar about breastfeeding covered or uncovered. It's getting old. If you want to be uncovered then be uncovered, don't get mad when people look at you. They are going to look until they get use to it or get over it. Isn't that what you all want anyways....For people to get use to it?

It's okay to not want to openly breastfeed uncovered. 
People will still look & stare & judge either way. You cannot, no matter how hard anyone tries,change the mind of every single person in the world.

If in public, I would cover up with a blanket or something just to be polite. But the act itself is extremely normal. It's just the same as going out to a restaurant to eat, infant style lol.
