Am I carrying twins?

At 4 weeks 6 days my HCG levels were 1300 and I was having pinkish spotting. They wanted to check my levels again in a couple days and they more than doubled to about 5200 and I'm still having spotting....is this a sign in carrying twins??

I don't know exactly what my levels were, but when I found out I was pregnant I had some spotting so they took my blood, & all she said was my levels were very high. I didn't know what that meant at the time, except that it must be a good thing, so the next day they did a ultrasound & found told me I was having twins!! I'm 19 weeks 2 days now, having a boy & a girl. Having high levels could be a indicator to having twins. Goodluck!!

My levels were really really low... They were suggestive of only being 4 weeks pregnant... I was almost 7 weeks woth twins

In studies, there wasn't significant evidence that hcg levels are linked to the number of babies you are carrying but in some cases high hcg has been twins.

I was 1400 at 5a and 4700 at 5w3d....Found out today 7w that it's twins! I had no clue!
