Spinabifida?!?!

Question

Hi, so I just got a call from my OB and she said my tests/scan for my twins have came back with a high risk for spinabifida! My question is has any women been told this and their baby(s) were completely healthy or once there is a risk there's no hope for a false positive (so to speak) I will see a specialist within the next 2 weeks but I'm extremely nervous

I know right now it's scary but honestly, it's not the end of the world. I have a friend who has two younger brothers who are twins and one of them was born with spinabifida and he's a happy kid, well young adult now haha. He has a good life. He plays hockey, and basketball, and he has a good life.

My brother and his wife were told that the ultrasound of their second baby was very suspicious for Down's Syndrome.  The doctor was wrong and they had a very healthy baby boy!

A family's friends daughter was supposed to have spinabifuda among many other problems. She was born perfectly fine. Try not to stress too much until you know it's certain.
